𝐌𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧, Specialist in Geology & Geophysics and Former Geologist at Canadian Natural Resource Limited, reminds us:

“Bangladesh lies in a seismically active zone, with the Dauki Fault being one of the major fault lines in the region. Dhaka remains particularly vulnerable due to its high population density and infrastructure fragility.”

This event serves as a strong reminder of the urgent need to strengthen disaster preparedness, building safety, and public awareness.
